Merlyn said it's a good idea to write one's thoughts down. Actually, Merlyn seems to like writing everything down lately. And he makes Kay and I do it, too. "Good penmanship is an art and may come in handy, Arthur," he says. Kay huffs and scowls, and complains that writing is only for monks and scribes. He says that because his writing is terrible, even worse than mine. And he doesn't like to be shown up, you know. His face goes purple like Sir Ector's when Merlyn tells him off. The first-floor bathrooms, right wing, are in use again. That means I have to go all the way to the left wing. Yeah, I could just go to the ones on this side of the school, but that's the Hangout. Whose hangout you ask? Well, it's not written in stone, but that's where they party during class. I really don't want to run into them. Why? Well, I'm kind of ashamed to admit it, but I'm a bystander, someone who turns a blind-eye to bullying. It's far from noble of me, but I have this selfish fear of being bullied myself.

I was thinking, since Tudor England is a time of great interest to me, I could write a story about Anne Boleyn...y'know, the real Anne, not the slut that everyone thinks she is. But the real Anne...a woman who didn't want to end up like her sister. Hey, the way I see it...if the king wanted me so bad, I'd take advantage of that, rather then end up a ruined woman...oh well, we'll have to see where that one goes.
